I have no record of Samuel's birth or death. His approximate year of birth is taken from that of his wife Mary Ebsworthy. Samuel married Mary on 28 March 1815 (1) in Clovelly. They were both of Clovelly. Witnesses to the marriage were William Pennington and Jane Ebsworthy. Samuels occupation was given as husbandman.
Mary Ebsworthy was baptised on 11 Jun 1788 (1) in Clovelly, Devon. Her parents are William Ebsworthy and Mary.
Nothing further is known about this couple, I can only find a record for one child. There is no record of Samuel or Mary being buried at Clovelly, so I presume the family must have moved after the birth of their daughter.
