Prudence was baptised on 28 Jan 1827 (1) in Clovelly, Devon. She married John Andrews in 1846 (2).
John Andrews was born about 1825 (3) in Woolfardisworthy. No baptism has been found so year of birth taken from age given at time of death.
John was a Farmer and he and Prudence had 7 children. They began married life in Holwill, Clovelly, but by 1861 they were at Burford Farm, Clovelly where they remained.

Note re name - the marriage entry for John and Prudence used the name Andrews but their headstone used the name Andrew so still not sure which name is correct. Have left the name as Andrews until I can establish a baptism for John.
