MARY HOBBS 1844

Daughter of James Hobbs 1806 and Mary Webber

Mary was baptised on 11 Feb 1844 (1) in Porlock, Somerset. She married Edward Latham in 1869 in Bedminster.

Edward Latham was born about 1844 (2) in Porlock, Somerset. There are two Edward Lathams for this time and I have not been able to establish which he is.

I have not been able to trace the Census details after 1871 so the information on this family is limited. Mary before her marriage had left home and was working for Silvanus Brown, the Rector of Porlock as a Nursemaid. After her marriage she was living with Edward in Clifton, they had at that time one son. Edward was working as a Lime Burner.

Edward Latham Born about 1871 in Clifton (2)
