John was baptised on 11 Dec 1842 (1) in Beetham, Westmorland. He married Catherine Llewellin in 1868 (2) in Hay, Breconshire.
Catherine Llewellin was baptised on 17 Nov 1839 (1) in Hay, Brecon. Her parents are John Llewellin and Catherine.
John had moved down to Monmouthshire to work for his Uncle Nelson Hewertson. He was working as a Timber Merchant. He and Catherine then moved to Worcester, as far as I can tell they only had one child.

I cannot trace the 1881 Census entry and by 1891 Catherine was a widow.
