No death record has yet been found for James. Sarah was buried on 2 Sep 1778 (2) wife of James the Elder. (Note: there is a burial for a James Ball on 3 Oct 1752 but my concern over this is that Sarah died after this date and it should have said Widow of James if the earlier entry was her husband)
