George was baptised on 23 Apr 1769 (1) in Burrough Green, Cambridgeshire. He married twice. His first marriage was to Mary Simpkin on 6 Jul 1806 (1) in Burrough Green.
Mary Simpkin was born about 1774, I have not found her baptism so her year of birth is approximate from the age given at the time of her death.
George and Mary had two children.

Mary died in 1810 (2) aged only 36 years. George married again. His second marriage was to Hannah Sergeant on 11 Apr 1811 (1) in Burrough Green, Cambrdigeshire.
Hannah Sergeant. I have not found any further information about Hannah, the Census puts her birth about 1788.
George and Hannah had 7 children. The spelling of the surname was Alen on the baptisms of all the children.
