THE JACOB FAMILY OF DULLINGHAM
The first Jacob baptism in Dullingham was in 1685 suggesting the family came to Dullingham from elsewhere. (possibly Brinkley) The lack of parents given on the early baptisms is of some concern. However, I believe William Jacob and Catherine Clarke who married in 1683 in Dullingham are the possible parents of these early baptisms, there is a note of caution in so much as there is a lack of burial for Catherine.
There are Jacob family members in Dullingham for the next 250 years. Name does vary between Jacob and Jacobs.
