Daughter of Thomas Hockridge 1754 and Damaris Burrow 1761
Damaris was baptised on 6 Apr 1787 (1) in Morwenstow. She married Thomas Ching on 28 Mar 1828 (2) in Clovelly.
Thomas Ching was born about 1790 (3) - no baptism has been found and his year of birth is taken from his age at the time of his death.
Thomas and Damaris settled in Clovelly. Thomas in 1851 was a farmer of 150 Acres but he must have fell on hard times and he is described in 1871 as a Pauper. As far as I can find Thomas and Damaris only had one child.
